How do we remove our steering wheel

      Hello

I just had gm replace my turn signal switch and the nob of a service tech put my wheel back on so that when you go straight the wheel is turned to the left...

I took it back and they said it was all fixed now... however the wheel is still not straight its close but not for me.....im pretty pissed and now i want to do it myself...
i think the wheel needs to go to the right like 2 or 3 splines

Has anyone taken off the steering wheel? any tips ? I looked at the online service book but it does not show you how to remove the airbag...

and do you really need that steering wheel remover tool?

      thanks!

      one more question...

do i really need to have the wheel in the lock position?

and removing the negative cable, airbag fuses will prevent a airbag in my face right ?
