      replaced radiator hoses

I replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses on my mother in laws 2009 aveo. It ran fine then she broke down on the highway so I had it towed to my house It turns over but wont start. code reader found p011,p0014,p00b7,p0507,p0700. could a blown head gasket have caused these codes I see no leaks and oil and antifreeze clean.

I'd check to see if the timing belt snapped. A bunch of those codes have to do with timing.

I just removed the top cover and the belt seems fine and everything turns ok.

How do I check for spark since the coil pack covers all 4 plugs

Pull a spark plug, attach the plug wire and ground the plug to the engine. Have somebody crank the engine and observe the the plug.

One easy way is to pull each wire and connect to an extra grounded plug. But if you want to make sure the actual plugs in the vehicle are also ok, you would need to pull each one and check them the same way. You might consider pulling the Cam position sensors to check and clean them. There's 2 of them in the second gens, and I don't know if removal/install is as easy as with the first gens.
Are the codes listed in the order that they were displayed by the code reader? What caused you to replace the heater hoses, and has there been any other recent work done?

Yes thats the way the codes were listed also the hoses blew one by one. and the thermostat housing was also changed about a month ago and 3 months ago a new coil pack. I will try to clean the sensors and see what happens. and yes there is spark.

Second Gen US Aveos (09+) do not have spark plug wires, they are coil-on-plug.

Yeah, I'm an old school guy with a first gen - wasn't thinking Ecotec.
