      Rear Wiper Motor

My rear wiper decided to quit today (for the most part).
With the friction of the window, it won't move. If i lift the blade, it moves very slowly.
How do I go about replacing the motor? Is it an easy process?
A Google search yielded no help.
      Thank you!
      -Randy

It should be an easy process. I have the back plastic off of my back door now. A couple of things 1) there are plastic pins that hold a lot of the plastic cover on to the frame. It uses a center pin that pushes out the flange against the hole. I will go home and take some pictures of those so you can see how to put them in and out. 2) It has about two screws holding the plastic in place. ( I am going from memory )

follow-up: so I got the motor replaced... however, it's still not working.
I took my multimeter and checked the voltages from the cord and I'm getting ~15v when the switch is on.
Could it be that the replacement motor I got is bad?

is the ground good? 15v is kind of high, what is your battery voltage?

it's 12v when the car is off and ~14-15v when the car is running. it's dark now, so I can't go out and check the battery voltage at this moment.

i have another update: using a bench power supply, i applied the necessary voltages to both the original and replacement motors and got no reaction from them.
do you think this definitively says that the replacement wiper motor is bad?

I would say it's bad considering you are using a bench supply. Man, I forgot to get those pictures. Is that simple two wire feed to the motor?

that's okay! it really was as simple as you said. it's a 3-wire connector. grey with a constant 12v, red with 12v when the switch is on, and ground
i've noticed that when i give it power, i'll give it a little assistance with a pair of pliers and it does move, but very slowly... so i'm really leaning toward a bad replacement
