SO my girfiend just graduated college and moved in so I guess its timie to fix her car a bit.

First thing she tells me is timing belt, what's that??? She got the car with 30K on it drove another 100,000 needless to say she borrowed mine till I repalced hers Thanks for the thoughtful write ups Aveo forum!!!

The old belt looked brand spanking new!!! She never had it replaced for sure. She drove the car all highway miles from University of Florida to modeling jobs all over florida and Miami. Thank goodness its still a runner....

She was anal about oil changes tho ( good girl)



Last weekend I Bought 4 new Firestone tires did a tune replaced sparks, wires and cold air bellows (torn) in front of the throttle body, and seafoam cleaned the throttle body.

Yesterday I used the site instructions to replace the camshaft postiion sensor ( 1 hr total time!) that the CEL would come on intermittantly and all I can say is wow, the car is defitiely a runner!!! After the tune up we were getting 36 MPG, I'm wondering now without the stutter if it will get more, I will keep you posted...
