      believe it or not there is 1 case in europe where a guy bought a brand new audi and drove it 140,000km without an oil change.the engine was still good but was so full of sludge that it had to be completely torn down,cleaned and reassembled.they replaced timing belt/water pump and valve cover and vvt gear while they had it apart.

      error occurs on board a number of kilometers, depending on how it is set in the factory, mine is at 15000 km

      In our 2009 Silverado, Resetting the Change Oil Soon Reminder in the DIC is SUPER Easy after I installed the DIC Upgrade! I had to change my oil not too long ago, and it took 2 tries before the Oil Change Light would go out!

      This did work after a few tries!!! Thanx soooooo much guys! I was able to change my oil and filter all on my own in my 2011 Aveo5, where as I was used to doing on my old caravan!

      my change oil light never comes on and I change it every 5k miles.
