      my money is on a bad coil pack. i had similar problem and when i replaced mine it ran fine

      Sounds just like my car last summer, got new coils, problem persisted, there was a recall on my cat converter so they changed that, problem persisted, said with no lights on they couldn't do anything. So it still does it now.

      get the codes read. even if the CEL is not on a code may be stored. I bet it is P2135 TPS. ask me how I know? Then look at my screenname.

      If no codes at least try cleaning the throttle body before spending money on coilpacks. it is not the plugs so don't waste time.
