      Car won't start after sitting overnight

      Help my car won't start after sitting overnight. I started it yesterday and it was fine. The other day I went to the store went in came out 5 minutes later and car wouldn't start. I let it sit for about 15minutes then it started can you please tell me what could be wrong. Its a 06 chevy aveo.

      bad battery. A lot of auto parts stores will be glad to help you.

      When you say it wouldn't start, what does it do? Do you have dash lights? Does it click? Does it crank the engine over, but it doesn't fire up?

      Its sounds like it wants to crank over

      Yes the engine cranks over I have dash and headlights.

      so it isn't an electrical fault as to why the car doesn't start? is the starter engaging?

      Yes the starter is engaging.

      You need to find out first if it's fuel or spark. Next time it doesn't want to start, spray a small amount of carb cleaner into the intake. Then you move along from there with the next testing, depending on what happens with that.
