      P0137 and P2270 after sitting for a month

      well everybody, after a month in the Land of Fruits and Nuts (and not all of them grow on trees; AKA California) for a Family Emergency (and later a Funeral) I Returned home to my Precious Scootaloo and savored my regained freedom by making a trip to Nashville for a small meetup of an online group I am a part of in Centennial Park. I stop at a stoplight and noticed the Ugly Glow of my Check Engine Light; Normally, I would get my portable code reader of my Driver's Side Map Pocket and that would be that, but unfortunately, I had packed my code reader in my suitcase for california in case a family member had car trouble. I get home after my meetup, and I break out my BIG Scan Tool (a Cen-Tech 98614, with readable Datastream) and I find a P0137 and a P2270; here is the Freeze Frame data if anyone can help me:

      *BUMP* Come on Everybody, I NEED to have this Fixed, or I'll be spending an Arm and a Leg on Gas, and it will in all probability Kill my Cat, which Costs almost $1400!

      I had a p0137 on my van a few months ago, and just changed out the upstream O2 sensor, as indicated by the code - problems fixed. But the P2270 references a bunch of possibilites, including the downstream O2, and the PCM. Seems kind of early for this stuff to be happening. How many miles on your 2010? Any other problems in the recent past?
      Normally I would say to start by just hanging on an upstream O2, but these sensors apper to have taken a big price jump over my '05. So do you have access to a FSM for the testing specs of these sensors?

      I would think it is possibly just the gas after sitting. Refresh the tank and see what happens. IF a cat goes bad, you have a warranty until @ 2017 and 80k miles. But it should not go bad with a lean condition, just unburned fuel and oil will really hurt your cat..

      If anything I looks like the engine load is high. Although I don't know your scan tool, as some have different ranges of normal. Based on short trim o2, you might have been giving it gas during the freeze frame. Both those codes point to the secondary o2, so since those wires hang under the car, i would verify they are intact. Maybe a mouse ate them or something while it sat.

      You could try replacing the sensor, but what is your mileage? I would think warranty would cover this?

      I put Fresh Ethanol Free Gas in it as well as some Lucas Fuel System Cleaner (on recommendation from a family Member) I just rolled over 63,010, and I've checked my warranty book (which is as clear as MUD) but apparently, O2 sensors are only covered for 2 years or 24K miles on the Emissions Warranty. (they are also covered under the 3/36, but Thanks to Enterprise, I don't have that warranty to fall back on)

      Here's some Recorded Data that I captured last night after I inspected the Sensor Pigtail for myself (as well as put silicone grease on the connector seals) I'm almost tempted to go to my old school, and ask to borrow their Tech 2 for a minute or two.
