2012 Aveo Fuel Management System Upgrade!!!

Guys iv only had my 2012 Aveo for 3 weeks but my fuel cinsumption was pathetic! i went to the agents and had them do a fuel management system upgrade! the result is more power forsure and awesome fuel cinsumption! Just a tip from South Africa

Fuel management system upgrade? Did they just install a different fuel map or did u get some after market fuel management? Just asking because I'm interested in getting an after market fuel management system but not sure which one to get

I went to GM motors in Cape Town and they told me that you need to make a log book of you cars fuel consumption for the week then the mechanic will decide if re-mapping your car's CPU is necessary. In other words only if you complain to them that your fuel consumption is higher than it should be will they help you. That is of cause if your car is still under warranty...

I agree; I tried Wezzo's advice and took my 1.4l Aveo to the Chevrolet dealership in Thailand to ask about this fuel management upgrade. When I told them I was getting around 32mpg they said that was 'good'. So yes, you're right vipercarcom, if someone's Aveo has a consumption similar to the ones shown on that website, there's nothing that can be done.
The only website I've found that might help you see an improvement is ecomodder, but some of the ideas could be dangerous.
