      Hi Everyone,
Name here is Steve and I just got a 2010 Aveo LS5 the car is very old school.
manual transmission, also a hatchback handy for my computer work.
I bought it to use as a 2nd car. My main car is a nissan rogue 2013.
all wheel drive. I will take and post pictures sometime this week.
The Aveo is very blue, like electric blue and is in great shape.
      Thanks for reading.

      Steve

Welcome to the site Steve. Congrats on the Aveo. What made you choose it?

      Hello,
Got a good deal car has 61000 miles, runs great. I messed up the emissions test. I had to disconnect the
battery last night to try to fix radio. On inspection it passed safety but failed emissions because
of monitors not ready. They told me to drive it a few days and return for a recheck.Name: aveo.jpg

Looks really sharp Steve! Yes it came as a surprise to me that these newer cars do the 'emissions test' themselves, so it takes a few trips and some miles to complete the monitoring tests. If you ever get ahold of an OBDII test tool or interface, you will be able to see the monitor results yourself before you take it in for inspection, so it can be a huge time saver as the car will tell you when it is ready.

      Hi,
Yes I bought a scangauge 2 that tells me everything about the car. The dealer is going to fix or replace the radio
at no charge. I found out there is onstar installed. The radio volume keeps shutting down and stations are
frozen. I think when they installed new battery, they didn't put a ecu saver to keep the settings.
      we will see Friday.
