Hi all. You can call me either Tommy, Fluffy, or Z34. No I do not own an Aveo. Before you say "What's he doing here then?", my girlfriend just bought a blue 2006 Aveo LT hatchback that she loves. Then what do I drive? Family inheritance. My mother died in 2008 and left me her pride and joy, a 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34, pictured below. It's late here since I just now found the forum so I'll send my GF the link in the morning so she can join. Her Aveo is her second car, a daily driver while she works on her side project, a black 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue named Odette. The Olds blew it's 3800 V6 motor and now she's trying to get an L67 3800 supercharged V6 swap done. As for me? I've been looking at Aveo's myself for a while for a daily driver to take the Monte off the road. But I'm stubborn and prefer to wait for one with the options I want to come around (ABS, a 5 speed manual, A/C, electric windows and preferably a CD player). Here's my car. 121,600 miles:

      - 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 - LQ1 3.4L DOHC 24 valve semi-hemi V6, 210 HP, 215 ft-lbs of torque, 4T60e 4 speed automatic with O/D.... 123,000+ miles. Slowly resto-modding it.
      - looking for a first gen Aveo for a daily driver :D

      Welcome to the forum, Tommy.

What hunter said: sorry about the circumstances for getting your Z34.

Keep us posted on the Aveo hunt. (What options are you waiting to find?)

I'm waiting to fins a T200 style Aveo (either a 2004-2006 sedan or a 2004-2008 hatchback) with the following options. ABS brakes, a 5 speed manual, A/C, electric windows, and preferably a CD player, though I could live without since I'd probably swap one in anyways. My girlfriends' Aveo has all those options except hers is an automatic, because she doesn't know how to drive a stick. Color and body style don't matter to me as long as it has a majority of those options.

Exclamation Re: New member in CT

Hi everyone, I'm the aforementioned girlfriend with the Aveo. My name is Ariana, or Ari, whichever you remember better. I don't know what its name is yet, but I'll figure it out soon enough. I have a picture too!
