New here, 2007 Yellow Aveo LS

Pretty cool to find a good Aveo forum, I've been driving this thing for almost 2 years and hated not finding a good forum.

Anywho, we call it the Yellow Submarine *Beatles* And I got a good graphic for it

I plan on taking the rear tail lights apart and painting all the silver black, but then one of them cracked so that put a big hold on that Anyone else done that?

How are the guage clusters in these? I really want to LED light change them from the green but have yet to take it apart to see if it is LED stock or if I can change it up. I see custom ones on here but just for the older body style.

SWEET! I love the Yellow Sub! What a great movie and that is a very professional graphic. A really nice add. The rear LED lights found on EBAY will be a nice add without tearing apart your lights.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

Thanks the best reaction was actually during a funeral that I was in the procession heh. The bishop came up and complimented it, and asked me if anyone else recognizes what it is or just burned out hippies like him. Lol

My friend has a Vynal cutter and made it for my birthday, He's awesome

I used to work in a body shop when I planned on painting it and I got to take several tail lights and even headlights home to practice opening them. I even got a tail light off a cadillac XLR haha. I'm not on my computer but I can post what my idea is later

Welcome! I like that Aveo. As for the tail lights, I'd just order a set from the Canadian Pontiac Wave.

From what I recall on the gauge clusters, you have to take them apart and remove the green film. Considering your car, I'd replace it with a yellow film.

What I'm wanting to do is paint the silver inside the light black, that way it still has a clear lense. Much like the Pontiac G8 Tail lights:

I knew what you were talking about. I was offering a suggestion.

Ahh, those do look pretty cool, never see em around. I've never seen em till I found this site. I was planning on posting it up before, and finally got on my computer lol. Posted before that on my phone. I am just nervous to stick my 07's tail light in the oven. Got it workin good with the XLR tail light though. I have the headlight from an 08 Tahoe that I wanna play with too, maybe some kinda black accents or LED strip inside the headlight as well.

You never see them because those tail lights were never offered in the US (but everywhere else). The closest market that had them was Canada on the 2007-2009 Pontiac Wave (G3) sedan. You'd have to contact a GM dealer in Canada and have them ship you a set of the lights.
