      my 2007 aveo

Yeah, so this is my 2007 Chevy Aveo5. I got it right now, and there are only 2940 miles on it, 5 speed stick. Everything runs fine on it.
Cons: Base model, Crank windows, no a/c.
but its all good i got a good first car

Welcome to the forum. Nothing wrong with crank windows! Less weight, less to go wrong.

And I've never owned a car with A/C. I don't know what kind of driving you have to do (stop & crawl is the worst in the hot weather), but up in Chicago maybe you don't actually need it. I have one of those beaded seat covers I put in my car for the hottest part of the summer (south/eastern Ontario). Good for avoiding getting a sweaty back.
