My Grandfather brought back a 1925 Mauser from WWII. He brought it home only because it was the year he was born. (he lied about his age when he enlisted to become a paratrooper.) My grandpa was the ****. (for other reasons to, but for the above most of all.)

I know what you mean tho Exodus-I'm a sucker for S&W Officer Handguns. I just can't help myself, I just do.

I took video when I came home from work today...it was fun...(not of a weapon, its my car...going from 0-60 in a disappointing 17 seconds....hahaha)

I never much got into handguns, but other than the 7round capacity, can't go wrong with a colt 1911.

My wife hates guns, but hopefully I'll be able to pick up a mosin at some point. Smoothest action of any bolt rifle I've shot...

My SKS is the ****. i picked it up from Turners Out Door for about $175 after all the paper work. i gave a S&W .22 to my grandfather. he also inlisted to early so he could fight in WWII but his uncle Narced him out and was booted out of the Navy so in Korea he signed up in the Merchent Mariens he worked on an Oil Tanker and a Fuel Ship. he got a Purple Heart there. My Grandfather IS THE ****! he road with the Boozfighters and 2 other Motorcycle Gangs. i want to be just like him too. he's 85 now and just got a new H.D. Sportster. he is My HERO! that and he has more guns then a Gun Shop.

That sucks that he told on your grandpa. My grandpa died 7 years ago, but I loved listening to his stories from his paratrooping days.

2) is there a height requirement for women in the military?

i have a few questions..

1) how many patches do you have and what do they mean?
I have 2 patches not counting my Flag and Name/Branch Tab.
One is my State Patch, which is like a unit patch, except its for the state.
The other is my Governors Dozen Marksman Patch. It means that I am amongst the top 12 shooters in my state. (Thats the top 3 teams each year.)

I have more ribbons than patches now. (Still nothing to brag about,) The last patch I have is my rank. Thats not really important unless there is unit specific mission tho.(for example, we are going to go to the field, so I will have a mission. Not exactly sure what as my job is almost obsolete when in the actual field, but its fun so i'm not complaining!)

2) is there a height requirement for women in the military?
Hahahaha....yes! But it is more of a Hieght/wieght ratio thingy. You have to wiegh a certain amount for your hieght. As far as requirements tho, I'm not quite sure the exact hieght, but I would guess anything below 4 foot 8 inches would need a waiver. (But take that with a grain of salt becuase I don't know for sure.)

3) why yellow?!
Because it makes people smile when they see it. No, actually if I had things my way, it would be white with metal flakes.

4) do you have extra cash for a turbo kit?(hint)
NO WAY!!! Why would I get a Turbo kit when I could have a Centrifigal Supercharger?! (I would if I saved up I guess, but outright with one paycheck-no. I'm not an officer.)

5) what is YOUR job/training? (I accidentally deleted part of this-sorry! )
My Job Training? Well, I am affiliated with the Quartermaster Corps, so....After my 9 weeks of BCT (Basic), I went to Virginia for 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training to become an Automated Logistical Specialist/Logistician. Which is everything running/working in a warehouse (auto parts warehouse that is)-to dispatching vehicles, issuing licenses, helping the mechanics, invetorying tools and parts, ordering parts, MREs, and milk (the only consumables I am allowed to order, BTW) all the way to working on computer systems and running a Shop Supply system. (Which is what I will be doing until the 11th of April, when i will be back to drilling status only. *I am currently a National Guard Technician, which is more or less full time, with less glamour and benefits.*)

ALSO...When you are active duty...you can rent a garage bay at the MWR,to work on your car, paint it, etc etc etc. Just FYI since this is a car forum.
