      Re: election...

I had respect for him, didn't vote for him but had respect, until i heard his acceptance speech last night when he said we had a lot of problems that needed fixed, and they might not be fixed in his first year as president or even his term as president. that statement right there tells me there probably wont be any big change in washington, like his entire campaign relied on.

Hopefully I am wrong. Because not only do we have him for the next 4 years, i am worried if he fails that a lot of these emotionally torn basket case democrats (the ones they show laying and crying in the streets, that worship him like a god) will commit suicide if Obama doesn't save the world tomorrow.

But I respect the system and Obama is our president, so I hope things get better. Not that the president is the one who made things bad in the first place, But i also know it might be possible to fix things as President, and since the democrats also won the house and senate. We will see, and I am sure all the liberal news stations wont tell us if/when he does things wrong. After all, according to the girl who came to try to get me to vote for him "He is our savior."

Alot of Canadians LOVE Oba ma alot of people from my province went down to help him campain and be in Chicago last night. I thought he was very well spoken last night, Mccain also. I think what Obama was talking about last night was that good things come with time and a person can't fix the economy in one day, he's a realist and that's a good thing, I don't think he'll sweep anything under the carpet and hope it goes away.

anything is better than the lame duck we have now....really I didn't like either choice...actually I don't like any one for politics because it costs so much money now to run that they will always be in someone's pocket. Hell the economy is struggling but they can still raise millions and billions of dollars? I think that money could go to better things than campaign parties and what not.
