That is not a SS/SC. It started out as this http://www.tunerzine.com/view_news/news ... alt-part-1

And I said street driven. Not a factory backed all out drag car.

Matco came to our school with 2 cobalts, one full out race car, and another that can be raced, but if u take the slicks off and put regular street tires on u could drive it down the road. both were turboed and the one u could drive on the road was pushing upwards of 400hp if i remember correctly.

Here is the rear of that car. I dont think he deploys the chute when he is slowing for a traffic light. And it is not a SS/SC either. It uses a completely different motor. And FWIW, it's major sponsor is K&N

the fact that its not a SS/SC makes it even better, and who cares if its major sponsor is K&N, u would be damn happy if they sponsored you. hell i know i would. Id be happy if i only got sponsorship from Autometer or sylvania. ****, more free **** for me!
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

if u read my previous post i said that both were turboed Ecotec engines. and if u were driving around u could probably take the chute off. yea its major sponsor is K&N, but matco owns and built it.

Hell yeah I would be happy if I was sponsored. The point I was making is that the SS/SC is not very capable in the aftermarket. The LSJ has been around since 2004 and there are a handful(less than 5) of fast ones that run less than 12s. I think this new one will be much better and I really hope that it is.
