      Cobalt now turboed?

      I dont know if anyone has noticed but the cobalt ss is now a turbocharged version, just saw this as I was checking mpg ratings

      Yeah they announced back in 2006 that the 08 would be a turbo

      yup, on css.net, someone spied a gm test vehicle of the turboed cobalt. but i beleive they are releasing it for 09, not 08, may be wrong tho.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      hhhmmm i thought the 08 cars were already out... im pretty sure the tc versions arent for sale yet, but again im goin off memory.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      the cobalt SS turbo will be out before june as a 2008 model, im pretty sure chevy said it'll cost $23K with most of the option included.

      Yeah, the supercharged ones tend to have supercharger issues. Guess that paticular Supercharger was junk from the beginning. I have one that races with us, and his made all sorts of noise(clunking, clicking, popping and rattleing). eventually they replaced it under warranty, then 3 months latter its developing clicking again...

      And someone else in our car community where i live had one just sieze up.


      Guess there where quite a bit of reliability issues with the Superchargers... Engines are awsome, better off with a turbo i think!
