      WTB: red passenger side mirror

Some crazy guy on a bike crashed into my Aveo and broke off my passenger side mirror, so I'm trying to find a replacement. Does anyone have a spare red side mirror assembly for a hatchback Aveo? The dealer charges three-hundred freakin' bucks for one, and no parts yards have any wrecked Aveos yet. I will pay a decent price.

Check on gmpartsdirect. I just did the search on a 2006 Aveo mirror With Heat - $115, Without heat - $99 (plus shipping).

Now, for the color? I can't help you there, but the cover ranges from $6 - $11 (plus shipping)
It may not help a lot, but I figure the mirror assembly and cover, at about $125 is reasonable.

Well, they have the mirror glass part, but the whole plastic mirror housing and adjustment mechanism are not listed on the site. Is there a part number listed for this item? And are there any other parts suppliers that carry OEM parts?

Re: WTB: red passenger side mirror

I've tried EVERYTHING, nothing will hold it on. Epoxy, JBWeld, superglue... it won't hold. It's the inner plastic part that holds the black plastic to the painted plastic housing as well as the glass. The break is very jagged and the angle is awkward for applying anything on it. And I can't even screw it on because the mirror housing is mostly hollow and there's no hard plastic guts to fasten anything to.
