i was thinking with the set up i have a hood scoop would be better but you need to cut a hole in the hood and i need a doner hood thats cheap to do that. then build up an air box to go around the filter. then do the locking pins to hold it all down. i like some of the scoops i have seen in Carbin Fiber. and i think a doner hood that was made from fiber glass would be ok for mock up. then buy a carbon fiber hood to make it work out. i could even make the airbox myself using the stock air box as a proto type. or do you think that would be to far in front and to the side to look good?

You did WHAT? to your Aveo? HAHAHAHAHA

if it has a purpose, it does not matter whether it looks good or not. function ALWAYS equals form!

And RON, i have never seen this guy's CAI, so i couldnt say.

Thanks, I think he's got pics on his cardomain site. As for looking good vs. functionality...I'm with ya, but it sure helps if it doesn't look thrown together.

with the placement of the T.B. on the aveo i saw a subaru that has the perfect hood scoop to use and all you would need is a smaller filter and an air box thats it. you know the scoop i am talking about on the new Subaru's Impreza wrx i think that might work if some one is good at photoshop can you please hook it up so we can see what the Aveo can look like and see if it looks worse then if joe Dirt was a Ricer.

Cut a hole right where the sticker is and it'll be real simple.
