??Remove the Hand Brake??

Does anybody have an idea on how to remove the handle for the E-Brake?
i want to detail it, but I am retarted to the knowledge of getting it off....if its even possible?

well that depends the whole hand break or just the handle in my 08 hatch the handle just slides off.

i found out how to do it. i was tryin to slide off the handle, not the whole contraption. i was tinkering a few days ago and i found the trick. thx
