      Why not remove anything and everything that has any weight or provides any comfort? Being primitive is now in style. After removal of all that needless stuff, perhaps you can push or pull the body shell of what used to be your motorized vehicle around with you as a temporary shelter. Maybe you could invite some homeless folks in to camp out in it with you. They might help you push your shell of a car (now rendered primitive) if you offer them something they want.

      rear seat, spare tire, switch out the driver and passenger seats, switch the rims, tear out all the carpeting, the plastic&wires, perhaps run on empty too, it all adds up, weigh your axles at the local shop
