      Lowering Springs noob question

So I have about 3 inches of height on the front and 2 inches of height on the rear. They sell lowering springs that will lower my car 1.5 inches. They are cheaper and probably easier to install than coilovers. My question is are the springs going to be stiff or bouncy because if I go low and bouncy, the car will rub on the tires. Also I might be ordering the springs tomorrow so I was thinking of getting the H&R Sport Springs which has a 1.5" Front and 1.4" Rear drop. If you guys know a more stiffer spring choice, that would be cool to know! Thank you!

Only thing I would say is replace your rear shocks. I have H&R springs and I put them in on old struts and it rubbed when I had 4 people in the car but I replaced the shocks and struts no more rub. Well that and I rolled and pulled my rear wheel wells. I am going to go back and cut a coil off of the front to level the car when im driving it.

Did it rub on the front because it won't rub on the rear since I have bump stops installed on the rear. I'm just worried it might rub on the front with four people in the car.

No the front only drops maybe 1/2 inch with people in the car. That's why I say cut a coil that way it will be 2.5 in the front total drop.

Looks nice. I wouldn't cut the springs though... Nothing like the spring coming off the seat and puncturing the tire at 60 mph...

At least in my experience adding a lowering spring to a stock strut will make it ride rougher, bilstein makes a version of the HD where the damping settings are designed for use with lowering springs, not sure if they make them for Aveos
