      putting something together

      I'm putting s system together for my car. Here's two 6.5 I'm looking at

      Polk Audio db6501

      i have the infinity's in my doors, and they are awesome
      Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, rather than drive a fast car slow!

      Polk for sure. Have 6.5" in the rear and 4" in the front and they are awesome

      put 6"s in the front too youll be amazed at the sound difference

      How much power are you guys putting to Polks, I need to go amp shopping.

      No need for a 4 channel just for those speakers. They are only 1 channel each. That runs to the crossovers and then out to the woofer and tweeter. Use a 4 channel to power front and rear or front and sub and power rears off of the HU. For those I would say at least 75W RMS, preferably 100W rms. Do you have a budget? A simple install would be a 4 channel 100W RMS x4 amp. Run the 2 fronts off of the first 2 channels, bridge the other 2 for 200W RMS to the sub(s). Then run the 2 rears off the HU.

      one channel for front left speakers, one channel for front right speaker, one channel for back left speaker, one channel for back right speaker...that would require 4 channels and jhust get a diff amp for subs..
