still have a the stock mp3 deck (by the way stock deck is 45Wx4), so the sub is powered by the wires from the rear right speaker. i know that thats crap, but i can't aford a new deck and an amp.

Question: my friend told me that i will kill the sub by running it like that, caz it doen't get enough power to move to cone to cool the voice coil. is that true?
another thought, i dont think u are puttin enuff power into it to really get the voice coil hot. hell id be suprised if it got luke warm.

You can also browse craigslist.com and look for amps. I go on there sometimes for the Toronto Area and find some really good deals.

YES YOU can afford an amp, drop me a line and I will help you out.
sorry, can't spare any money for a sound system
You might as well just take the sub out then, its more like a weight for your car if you don't get an amp or headunit.

i know that it does not thump the car apart, but i gata say that there is alot of bass just from the 45W, so im gona run it like that, and maybe in the future go all the way

seriously a trip to wal mart and 100$ can get u an ok amp and wireup kit. u need dont need an aftgermarketr headunit to run the amp and sub. i run my 2 10s off my stock player and it works just fine. save yor pennies for like a month or 2 and u will have it. it looks like a damn nice sub and its a shame its so underpowered.

u have to run the remote wire to a power source that turns on and off with your car. i chose a fuse in my fuse box, not sure which one right now but i can check if u need me too. but i have heard you can wire it to your cig. lighter outlet as well. and then run your power and ground wires as normal. u will also need an amp that accepts high level inputs. the high level input connector looks similar to something like this
      http://cgi.ebay.com/Scosche-FD13B-Ford- ... dZViewItem
you take and hook up the 4 wires (2 to each speaker in the back) and then plug the connector to ur amp. thats how the sound transfers to ur amp. it sounds complicated to do but the whole process of installing the amp and subs took me only about an hour to do.
id be willin to bet that aveosummit may be able to give you more clear and detailed instructions and possible have sumtin good for u to buy as well??? but like i said a 100$ and a trip to walmart can get you waht u need to give your sub some juice.

some one help, i disconected the sub and took it out, caz was going on a trip and needed all the trunk space and then some. the thing is i don't remamber which wires off the sub box (black/red) go to which wires on the car's rear right speaker (while/blue) wires (crazy trip to blame). The funny thing is i tryed it both ways, and it seams to work the same, but im shure its better to have it connected positive to positive, and negative to negative. or it doesn't matter?
