i think i had the gain too high
the type r is only rated for 500watts rms even though it can handles more then that

i guess i was feeding it too much juice lol
i can see more larger subs in the future

dont get me wrong the alpine type R is a great sub but now i just want more lol

you are hooked for life, i told my self no more subs in april when i sold my 2 10" MTX subs. now i can't waiting till the UPS guy drops off my brand new 15" kicker LOL

i used to be into this stuff over 10 years ago..

then i built an engine you couldnt hear a 12 inch sub over...

now i dont want the weight taking away from performance/handling.
