I have and would not go without one. Especially how cheap they are.

I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

If you get a 3-way crossover, you will be able to separate your music into mids, highs and lows(3-way), mids and lows(2-way) and you can choose which to accent more. So to answer your question a crossover will help with your goal of adding a bigger difference between your low and mids.

*One should note that using a crossover may also mean adding another amplifier to your existing system.

ie. A person is currently only running a single channel(monoblock) amp for there subs, if they choose to add an electronic crossover they will need to add another amplifier 2-channel or 4-channel to direct this new separate signal.

I used one in my old car, but not the aveo.

It was a legacy 12-band. I dont remember the model though.

      question for you...
arent legacy, pyramid, pyle all cheaper brands?

on my old car I went with cheaper ebay stuff and got a legacy cd player, american legacy amps, blah blah. and when I upgraded stuff there was a HUGE difference in sound when I got known name brands.

Legacy, Pyle, Pyramid, Blitz Audio, Lanzar are all products of china by the company SOUNDAROUND

Most of the other brands are manufactured in Korea the remaining (expensive ones are developed/manufactured in the same location ie genesis in the uk)

With the car audio world being so competitive, alot of companies are now having there products made in china and assembled in Korea( to say that are not made in china).

Alpine, Pioneer, JVC, Sony, all made in China, just fyi.
