turn signal lights..

i moved my turn signal light up to my headlight housing,
and now i want to disable all lights in the turn signal housing.
anyone know how to do this without causing the blinker to
flash rapidly when i use it?

did you add a bulb to the system? that would make it blink too slow.

its a resistance thing, so if you buy a resistor = to that of the light bulb you take out, it will remain the same speed.

i pulled the power from one of the
blinker lights to the bulb up top.
so one of the bulbs on either side
is already non functional.
so does that mean id need a resistor for each socket
i want to eliminate?

no, you could do one resistor equal to all the bulbs, but if you added one and are removing one, then you should be fine.

If the aveo uses a relay to flash the bulb and you can get to it. It might be possible to change to a different relay that works from less resistance. OR go all led bulbs for your turn signals and get the relay to match those. I don't have the manual readily available or I would look for the relay.
