      Plasti-dip vs Vinyl wrap

i've recently been looking both of these exterior modifications and both seem to have their pros as well as cons. both have an array of colors, with design going towards vinyl, at least for beginners. i'm looking to color my wheels and have seen both products being used. to me it seem's like plasti-dip would be a good temporary or trial for colors, but vinyl would be a more permanent and final application, but still allow removal easily. i'm also thinking about doing my badges and mirrors and possibly my wing. any thoughts or reasons why one beats the other would be greatly appreciated. the vinyl on ebay seems reasonable to at least try.

My aveo is wrapped with plasti-dip and the cons:
You'll see trace of rain, gasoline or dirt if you don't wash regulary(1/month minimum)
You can't wash with cothes. Only with sponge or pressure.
Will be dirty quickly (can be artistic, like war machine. I like it :P)
Easy to remove, can be vandalized. Not designed for long time last (1-4years)
Really difficult to repare(you'll have to paint all the part because it will appear if you just paint a spot)

      I don't really recommend it...
      BUT IT'S AWSOME!!!

Ive seen vinyl take the clear coat right off of a mustang. for cheap thrills Id go with plastidip. right now I kinda got an artic camo theme going. My next attempt will be a solid or two tone dip job, Im not messing with vinyl.

i've applied vinyl, and seen plastic-dip. I would use paint on wheels. although I would do a full real paint job and buff it in the time some people take to do a half ass plastidip paint job.

i have the standard red color. i'm looking to do something other than black out for accents. i was thinking the lime green/other shade of green. or also the koi orange may look good. i have the alloy wheels and thought i could lay down some tape in the center of the spokes so i can have a silver center. with so many colors and hues to change from it is overwhelming. any input for color choice? i'm thinking about doing rims and grill the same color, may do badges another color yet, or do red.

Use red with the pearlized it looks awesome. A Lil advice pull your tape before the dip or you will pull your edges.
