      Thoughts & Opinions
Keep In Mind this was a 5 minute Photoshop job, It will of course have a clean gloss black finish.

Why do you say that? If his car is already blue then it really wouldn't take that much.

I'm not sure what normal paint jobs really cost, but there is a place that does $200 paint jobs around here, I saw one and the quality looks on par with OEM--probably doesn't last as long though.

because good paint jobs (just keeping the same color) normally cost around $2K. To change the color or do something custom, would cost alot more. And you can't just throw black over the blue. You would feel the height difference where they meet.
Is that place that does $200 paint job called Maaco? They are all over the country and know for crap work. It gets the job done but has that orange peel effect.

I would love to see it tho.

I'm not really sure, I'm going to look into them though since I just want a flat black paint job.

2k does seam high though. I know you can't just throw on new paint, but stripping paints pretty easy do to yourself, I'm in the process of that now.

Looks nice... Got some lowering springs? If not you need them... hehe...

Color goes great with the black top. What color is the car right now?

right now its just all blue and odds are if i do it ill just maaco it, itll cost less than half of what it would cost to do the full car in black and even if it doesnt last a decade ill can get it redone. im not tooworried.

Flat black job is gonna be much less since there is no clear coat involved. But even with you doing all the stripping, it will still cost about $1k at a quality shop. I just priced getting my other car painted and I wanted flat black with me doing all the work. They quoted me $1500.
