      luxeon city lights

Posting this for my sister. These lights are on her car.
Lumiled 1W luxeon leds. perfect once the holes are drilled out.
sealed with RTV and the power source was found on this echo drivers sight.

This picture was taken with the shop lights on, and they could still be brighter. Just need to adjust the trim pot. So i can only imagine how bright they are at night.

I'm getting an 04 aveo this week so i think i'll try the 3W luxeons with lenses...

      sorry no night pics.
for those who are curious i got the leds for http://www.luxeoncanada.com
those of you in the US could order direct from http://www.lumileds.com
driver is just a lm317 adjustable voltage regulator and a variable resistor (Trim pot - I think 2 ohms)
If you search around that echo site the same guy has posted the formula to figure out which resistor to use.

      Sorry such a long post.
      Enjoy.
