End all/Be all hid threads

I am unclear on the types of lights I need. I want bright bulbs I need. If I get hid bulbs, can I keep oem bulb housing...and then I need to get a resistor or what? I see them online and I understand to not get the cheap stuff cause you get what you pay for....so, that's why I'm creating this thread. I'd like bright lights, that last..and aren't crazy expensive..can anyone give me any tips?

Most expensive bulbs you can find at an autozone/advance auto parts. : quick and easy h4/9003 bulbs

HID kit 5k or 6k 9003/h4 bulb 35w : no harness or resistor should be necessary unless the DRLs interfere with them which can be disconnected, much more useful if your oem housing is retrofitted for a projector to properly use the HID bulbs. fairly simple to install basically plug-n-play just need to mount the balasts.

True LED kit: may need light modification to the hole the bulb goes through but thats it all plug-n-play. No flickering, instant turn on(no wait time).
