2008 aveo antenna problem

Hello gang. A friend of mine just picked up a 2008 Chevy aveo sedan. The car is great beside the fact it only gets like 2 radio station in the area. My trucks pick up a lot more. It does have an after market radio in it. Where is the antenna located in the car? It not on the roof like others. Any input would be great?

It is the upper grid of the rear window and almost looks like part of the defroster grid.

Is it part of the rear window or can it just be replaced?

Pull the radio back out of the dash and make sure the antenna cable is securely connected, and check the wiring connections while you're at it. Dang kids these days don't know how to properly crimp a butt splice.
