      universal headers

      Universals should fit all vehicles right? or somewhere along those lines... I went to a number of websites and Univeral headers came up for Aveos.. Dynomax and Hooker Header.. will they work or do you have no idea?

      u know if u did a search for threads about headers u would have found the answer that u have to have a shop custom make one just with everything else for these cars, since theres really no following in the aftermarket

      would that be quite abt of money? or around the same price if you just buy one..

      its gonna cost more since they gotta keep the car and custom bend each pipe and the flange with the cutout for the egr.
      the one that i have cost $600 when they guy i bought it from got it done. it may be more or less depending on where u bring the car.

      alright thanks..that's a bit of money to put in an aveo

      there are cheaper ways of doing it, like knowing the right people to talk to. buy a hi flo header for a 1.8, preferrably from a nissan or mitsu motor that is about the same length as the OEM headers plus cat are. then talk to GSEturbo to order an exhaust flange from him. then order hi flo cat, redo pipe to 2' all the way back with a resonator and hi flo muffler in there somewhere. that should cost u about 800$ or less when said and done.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
