      Engine Swap Interest

I am the owner of a Chevrolet Aveo LS 2006 model.... and in my country (Trinidad and Tobago) there isn't any aftermarket for parts etc... so I've been contemplating a few ideas and would like to throw them out for your opinions/advice etc...

My idea is 1) to swap my engine and tranny with the Nissan Sunny 1997 engine and tranny (transaxle may have to be cut) and I'm also looking into changing the steering rack because in order for me to changethe steering ends on my vehicle I have to change the whole rack which is approx $1200 US which doesn't make any sense whatsoever.... so who can assist me in my bid to be the first proud aveo owner of the caribbean?

And also my right tail light came stock with the reverse light being red instead of white like my left tail light.... why is that?

ive always wondered why the one lens on the reverses were red too.

will the motor from a sunny line up with the mounts on the aveo? ur better of lookin for a suzuki motor imo. daewootech.com has a list of all the motors that will swap into the aveo.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

There's no chance that the mounts would line up this I've already taken into account.... what will be needed to be done to mount the engine is to do some fabrication in the engine bay. The engine mounts for the jap engine has brackets. I can get a professional welder to weld the brackets in the suitable spots that's not my main issue tho.... its the steering rack and the stupid way they built it.... I mean who doesn't a rack that can change ends when the ends go bad?????
