move your battery to the trunk and run the intake from your turbo off the manifold into a hole similar to the one the passenger side fender has (cut one out) that way you can get somewhat cooler air still. just an idea lingering in my mind for some weeks now for a way to get easier cold air to that turbo

the difference in temp between CAI and SRI after turbo compression is moot. If you want to cool the air down, run an intercooler.
FWIW, those of you who think the scoop on a WRX is for the air intake are wrong. It's for the intercooler. You don't need a ram intake when you have a turbo.

If I had the $$, I'd run a Borg Warner twin spool turbo like the one on the new Mini Cooper S... boost at 1500 rpm. mmmmm boost...

      i might be first

i was offred up a pretty whole unused turbo kit tonight for 800 bucks.

i didnt really get the whole rundown from him but its a t3/t4 turbo includes piping for FMIC, the FMIC, all the hardware including BOV and external wastegate

all i need to buy on top of that would be the turbo exhaust manifold and the engine management software, so it looks like i could have it all done and running for about 1500-1650 if i play my cards right, but it would start with me spending 800 on this kit, so any opinions?
