the poly mounts are a tad more difficult to put into production actually. We need more of a revenue stream first anyways.
and like i said... apples to hockeypucks
blow me. all i have to say is the tranny will drop out of these cars with 5psi and a slam or rough shift. there has already been cases of this with no boost. Go back to school, you need it.
i agree, the trannys on these cars are full of ****, i broke mine before the first oil change.....
I didn't break mine but i let this chick drive it and she broke it just how yours broke khan4rtist. I'm feeling a little resentment from some of you and i just don't get it. some of you act like im cutting the thread down or you personally. I want to turbo or more like it supercharge it just as much as everyone else here. but im telling you now, if you don't prepare the car for the added HP your going to destroy it.
I believe you. Also should have been true with many other cars also. We'll see. Blow me? Forgive me if I offended you, I was simply saying that these cars are different from hot rods. Apples to Hockeypucks. Totally different.
Anyways, we'll blow up our tranny first to see how far it goes
lol already had it ripped out by some dumb biotch!
As I race my car I can sure agree with engine mounts being a better first mod investment than a turbo. And having installed strut mounts front and back with a centre door pillar mount underway body twist is a very big issue. I have a very clear picture of my car in a hard corner and you can see the sheet metal flex. It will be better now with the braces but more solid engine mounts would for sure help me. And do not forget that one of the axles has a flex coupling in it.
some people have already used this transmission with turbo motors and they havent fallen out, just build better mounts or just put a d20/f20 trans in there
Please post or email this pic to me, I'd like to see itQuote:

I'm worried about that happening with STOCK performance...the motor and trans move a lot under the hood.

Daniel... did you notice which direction the engine torqued when it moved? If we knew that we could start on some solid mounts with a torque damper maybe?
I'll try to get back with you on that, I need to see if I can find the video I tookQuote:

so what did you car dyno before you did anything to it? i dont really like to go off of stats that arent proven, like some motor companies show sometimes.Quote:
