Swap cold air for ram air

So, I currently have the cold air intake from ChromeIntakes, and I'm considering trading it for Weapon-R Dragon Ram Air.

I was reading that the Ram Air gives more torque, which gives better acceleration than a cold air intake?

Anyone else using this and find it better?

      What are the pros/cons?

No difference, don't waste your money. SRI just sucks in more hot air, CAI would give more power any day. Unless you driver your aveo in a pool, then stay with the CAI.

I agree with hunter, I would think the weeping R would be a power loss compared to the cai.

Go on ebay and buy a chromeintakes one, $30 or so, the cheapest SRI by far. Of course, you could spend $200 on some fancy pipe and such

would it be a good idea, and a money saver to just bolt a cold air intake filter on to the original pipe leaving just the bottom of the air filter box to give the CAI a good seat/spot? i figured it would be a good money saver but wounderin if it would be a good idea?

totally agree, teh hot air contains less oxygen, and the cool air have more, i don´t remeber but everi 7°c colder gives aprox 1 hp, but i'm not shure...
