ya, its super easy, just remove your air box, and attach the cone filter to the intake pipe, and tighten it up with a gear clamp.

      Re: question about intake

^now that would be a great solution assuming that the AC wires arent directly underneath the intake tube like on the E-tecs. or it could end up costing u 60$ down the road. get some charge pipe with the correct bends, 8 inches of 4 ply coupler, a hack saw, a drill, and some clamps like denis mentioned. make the necessary cuts, drill the hole in the pipe for the air sensor, use the coupler to seal and secure the sensor into the hole u drilled into the pipe, use the clamps to hold the pipes and couplers together and to intake mani and ur golden. pretty straight forward.

if all ur lookin for is a lil growl then remove the airbox resonator. it will give u all the growl u need.

its not the cone filter on the stock plastic pipe that did that, its a cone filter on an aluminim intake pipe that we all had that did that, so even if he has ac he is safe

      Re: question about intake

I ran a K&N cone on the plastic pipe for 35k without any problems except a little paint rubbing off on the strut tower. Just switched to a custom CAI, got tired of everyone saying I had a warm air intake.
