Ah, good point :/ I always forget that the first gens aren't an option. Sorry, guess you're stuck with the bolt on side of things. Which isn't always bad ;P

Tell me about it, we've got to do everything for ourselves lol. Not to say its any less fun! I need a header bad, too bad any of the places around me that could make one want a small fortune.

I know this thread is old but I ve been waiting for a response from JA Exhausts on their z16xer header, so I bought a Jet Stage 2 chip. Its a straight forward install but I cracked the sliding mechanism which caused some probs. It spuddered like hell and threw a CEL, but I reset the ECU and all is well. As far as performance it definitely does add power from 2000-4500the Rpm- there were kids out I wasn t pushin too hard. After only 2for miles of driving it feels like a little more pop than when I first added the intake so the 2 are a nice combo. Please dont hate on jet chips they r really not chips at all but risc processors( I beleive these processors where first used in the military). Now the big question is how does it compare to Trifecta.I bet $ they are pretty close cuz the E Z Flash tune is an "out the box " tune just like Jet, however if u custom tune in real time on the dyno Im sure Trifecta would be great.

If anyone cares the aveo ran great on the expressway ...It pulled harder than usual to 85 and thats when I let up, I usually drive 60-65. After work it once again threw a CEL. After playing with it I called Jet and told them Im getting a P0340 code for camsbaft sensor. The chip will be returned,& hopefully fixed . The customer service call was uneventful and I will keep u posted as to the result. If I am not happy I will pop a trifecta tune so the rest of us could get an honest reveiw from someone who has had both. I hope all gets fixed so the $ can go towards headers

Not to leave my complaint post undone. The 2nd chip is fine. My battery was going out causing my dash to look like a x- mas tree. I replaced the battery and all is well ...a lil quicker n no cels. I guess Im happy with my purchase, I will update if my mpg has improved in a month or so
