      Oil Leak domino effect?

So last night I replaced my valve cover gasket, went smooth everything looked good. Got in this morning and went to work ran fine but noticed some smoke from under the hood. 'Oh well, I just had the valve cover off.' and went to work. At lunch same story runs fine just smokes like crazy under the hood when I stop moving. Get home this afternoon and its still smoking so I grab my light and do some looking. Still no leaks around the cover but now it looks like oil is leaking from around the oil cooler onto the exhaust, the issue I have is I didn't have the smoking issue until I replaced that cover gasket. Could these things be related?

I read in this forum to check your oil pan bolts.

I developed an oil leak. Looked like it was coming from the front of the engine and moving around to the sides and rear. I changed the oil pressure switch. Then I changed the gaskets in the oil cooler. No change. Then I found three loose oil pan bolts. Problem solved. Now I have a front main and rear main oil seeping. Not bad.

usually not but when you fix it get a good sea/O ring kit no Chinese stuff you can get a whole oil cooler kit/housing and the get the 3 metal pipes for coolant and you'll need the manifold to head and cat to exhaust pipe gaskets and drain the coolant just remove the temp sensor on the bottom right of the radiator to drain good time to change the coolant replace the oil pressure sensor while your there the oil pan is sealed with sealant more of a problem there a bracket that has to be removed and dropped down as the oil pump has a relief valve that drops down about 2"

I used the FelPro set. Also, good to know how to drain the coolant: I need to replace my radiator.
