Okay, here is what I WANNA do. right now i have a turbo muffler custom from the axle back. just wanna do axle back right now. and I wanna remove the muffler and run a straight pipe from the axle back with a resonated 8.5 inch tip. Would that set up be freakishly loud or not too bad, like to the point where i cant hear inside my car. Thanks just need some advice soon!

Where your car is a first gen, before the facelift, it has about the same sound deadening as a plastic sandwich baggie.
I would recommend against modifying the exhaust.
I can't imagine that sounding great on this car. I'd leave it alone.
Yes, i realized the tip i bought wasnt what i wanted on the Thrush exhaust i have now cause it made it quieter and so when i took it off I was loud and rejuvenating! So nothing is being changed, it will remain the same and i will buy a straight through tip instead of a resonated. I undid the bolts at the flange and heard it and it was LOUD! way too loud for me and my town, so gonna keep what i have haha thanks anyways guys
