HELP!!!! ASAP!!! 08 motor in 05 Aveo

I bought a 08 motor on after reading the forum here and seeing that guys were swapping them out with few if any complications. I have one. The valve covers are different, which ouuldn't generally be a issue other than the 05 has a tube that drains back to the block and on the 08 casting there is a void there but no hole. it this swap possible? Did you just do some plumbing mods to get this swap to happen?

What's the tube drain? and where does the other end connect?

Well, it is about a 1 inch pipe that connects to the block above the starter and the other end connects to the right side of the valve cover. The 55 block has a hole in it for the pipe to bolt to and the 08 block has the spot machined but no hole for the pipe or the bolts in it. I improvised and made a executive decision and drilled a 1 inch hole for the pipe and drilled and tapped 2 holes for the bolts that hold the pipe in place. I got it all hooked up and installed today. Runs like a champ. I even added A/C to it today. pulled the old motor lastnight after work, drilled the hole this morning, installed new motor and fired it up, then finally installed the A/C that i pulled of a junker. Tomorrow, i will have to suck the system down and charge it and try the crankshaft learn to clear the flashing ses light. Seems to run great thiough.
