Header for 1.6L
« Thread Started on Aug 27, 2005, 7:13am »

Well here is a 4-2-1 header for the 1.6 engine in the Aveo. It's made for the Lanos. only thing different is the back part of the downpipe. this one goes straight, the Aveo goes over the crossmember. but this would bolt up very easily, just cut off behind the flexpipe and have a custome bent one made and installed. we are trying to get as many people as possible on a group buy so we can get it cheaper. it coming from Korea, here is the link. scrool down to see the pic

I would be very interested to know how extreme this bend is aswell. I don't own an aveo, but my buddy does and wants to add bout 30 - 40 hp. It's my day off so i'm doing reasearch for him. He has a grand to spend on this ride so far, and wants to do it right for as cheaply as possible. If the header costs 400amn, and it costs 300 cdn to bend the pipe it's not worth the price, let alone be cheaper to get one custom made to what ever spec you want.
