      be careful with seafoam

My aveo was being a little lumpy at idle so I decided to use some seafoam. Well I sent it in through the PCV like it said but instead of only putting in 1/3 of a bottle the aveo quickly sucked up almost the whole bottle! Now I'm throwing a CEL code AND a HOLD code... and the car is running even more rough! So just be careful people! I hope that if I let the car idle for about 10 minutes maybe it'll clear up....

so yeah my engine light is blinking, along with the hold light. I want to take the car to Autozone to get it checked with their machine, and since the people at Autozone aren't always the brightest where is the port that they'll hook the scanning machine up to so I can tell them?

On most "domestic" cars (including the aveo), yes... but on my OBD2 VW it's under a trim panel by the ashtray/cigarette lighter... so not always there.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

usually blinking is a misfire, pull your plugs.

yeah i plan on checking those, depending on what Autozone says. I hope the seafoam didnt foul them up because they are e3 plugs and about 15,000 miles old at most

good news and bad news. went to autozone and the scanner had 2 codes, both misfires. Pulled my plugs and they were icky brown! So dropped some new plugs in and now the car runs awesome, but my engine light is now on consistently not blinking, i tried the trick where you unhook the battery and hold the brake pedal for 30 seconds, and to start and turn off the car 3 times, but the light remains. I decided to leave the battery unhooked now overnight and see if that helps. If not i guess i'll have to go back to autozone in a few days
