I read that the 1.4 optra cams (duration 240) will fit 1.6 aveo motor (duration 220). How true is this and does anybody know where I could buy 1.4 optra cams.

i have heard similar, but for the interchange you need specific engine codes, and willingness to take risk. (mostly because we dont have the 1.4 in our market, but reading up on the they appear the same in many aspects, as well as some foreign builds.)

if I can find a set for a descent price I don't mind trying it out. I read that it has already been done in Singapore.
