Better Acceleration? Any quick/cheap ideas? Louder noise?

Hi, I am new but i have a question.

I have a K&N panel airfilter which i believe has made a difference to my 2009 1.2 hatchback. I have also got an exhaust.

Any ideas what else i could do which wont risk the engine dieing? and that i could do myself for little or not money?

If not a louder sound from the airbox would be nice? but not too loud ahaha just so i can hear the whistle from the filter?

take the resinator off the air box in your fender well. That should be louder what kind of exhaust do you have?

Will that have any other implications, or will the engine run the same as before? and it's only the backbox I've had, It's got a nice rumble now aha.

as long as the air is filtered, and the sensors are in place, almost all air intakes are not going to hurt anything. IT might not create an increase in performance, but the computer will adjust.
