are you planing on keeping the AC, power steering and everything? i didn't know that you can just swap the 2 l in to the place of a 1.6 and keep everything the same. man if this works out, your are going to be my hero.

Keeping a/c, power steering, hopefully everything rebolts to the 2.0, in therory it should, the accesories seem to be in the same place as the 1.6

I still need to know what serpentine belt i need, cant start the work without it

just put it together, and then measure it for a belt. you can buy belts by length in mm.

the serp belt is the last thing you put on anyhow. and you can start and test run the engine without it.

good luck...im interested in seeing this work out. I am in it to see what kind of gas mileage you get and how the weight difference (if any) effects handling. It would give aveo owners an alternative if their motor goes.

Yes, what ECU are you using? The aveo 1.6 ECU or optra ECU?

D16 will bolt up just fine. But would probably need upgrades if you are going to mod the turbo.
