Air Intake 2010 Aveo5 LT

Would you say those fancy new intake filters are good too for off roads, dusty environments uses or just good for normal street and highway general uses ? I'm happy with standard factory paper filter performance, clean them at each 5 K Km and replace them at each 10 K Km intervals including cleaning filter box to a immaculate cond. Paper filters works fine and are cheap...

Ambient Air Temp
Engine Load
Engine RPM
Fuel Flow (Gal/hr)
Intake Air Temp
Mass Air Flow Rate (CFM)
OBD Speed (GPS speed is logged as well)
MPG (Long term average)
