No, the plant making the Russian Sonic (Aveo) is owned by GAZ, which funnily enough about 8 years ago, they bought the complete tooling and assembly line equipment of the Second Generation (2001-2006) Dodge Stratus and Chrysler Sebring, to make what they called the Volga Siber. The buyers of the tooling and Assembly Equipment for the Aveo is called ZAZ.
