what parts from other cars can go on an aveo? ive heard of an accord ram intake(i think) will fit on the aveo intake mani and work great.. but i would like confirmed information please! thanks

what year do you have?

there are intakes made for the pre 09 aveos. The 09 (new engine) cars, the throttle body is angled different, but i think an 90's accord intake could be made to work. just need to cut the piping for length but use the angled ends..

interchanging parts is what you are willing to try, i have 99 mustang GT rear shocks on my car, they are very short compared to stock, your car has to be very low before you can even bolt them up though, and will top out if a take a turn that raises a wheel. (the car raised rear wheels anyhow, now you just hear that bump). but most people buy kyb replacements.

i also fitted a hayabusa muffler, took me about an hour of welding and fabbing up an over the axle section for the exhaust. but it flows so much better than stock. You could fit any muffler on the car with the effort.

i am working on fabricating a rear disc brake kit, and a big brake kit. hopefully by the end of summer i will have that started. already have the brake kits, just need to fit them and make the carrier adapters. (non ABS)

i have also test fitted an autotech rear swaybar from a mk2-mk3-corrado on our rear beam. it will work, because of that brands mounting hardware.

i could go on, but this is my daily, not my project, so i haven't gotten any further into it.

I think some parts on the Suzuki Forenza will work on an Aveo. They were both made at GMDAT in South Korea, so some parts must be swaps. I know that the steering wheel is exactly the same... :P

really anything can fit the aveo
it's just a matter of if you want to do any fabrication/modification to the part or the car
and good you are at it

i did ask and they said it will fit as long as you keep the blinker fluid topped off and add more stickers and a wing


how about honda fit parts or such like that

I think Honda Fit wings will work along with rear strut brace for Fit. Idk what else besides their wheels, which who wants those right? lol
